I’ve always wondered what it would feel like to be born in another decade. Having studied history of fashion from the beginning of the 20th century up to our generation, I always tried to picture myself in the different kind of clothes that characterised those periods, especially THE ONE that made everyone feel free and reckless: the 60’s.
That’s what we’re talking about today. Throwing it back to the 60’s and 70’s, when wearing one of the Levi’s® Orange Tab pieces was a symbol of style and youth. Since then, these pieces became the most iconic version of the vintage Levi’s® on the market, and collectors would go crazy to find at least one piece that had the Orange Tab.
For this spring Levi’s® is bringing back a new remastered version of the most famous skinny 510 and the new 505, as well as loose tees with the original logo, rompers and zipped high waisted skirts with matching denim jackets.
My choice for this look was a blend of then and now, with a jeans skirt with a long zip from top to bottom and the orange logo tee, with a boyfriend fit. What do you think?
Could I be a child of the 60s, just for today?
