...vorrei fotografare quel sorriso che non è più mio. Perchè forse, se avessi scattato quella fotografia e l'avessi tenuta stretta stretta a me, mi avrebbe ricordato giorno dopo giorno quant'era tutto per me e non gli avrei mai permesso di andare via lontano.
Ricordo lo scorso 25 dicembre...e una vigilia unica, in cui "Natale" era stare insieme. Amarci e stare insieme.

If i had this camera, i would dress my family up, me and my brother would be elves, and my parents would be mr and mrs santa clause, then i'd get someone else to take the photo but we're all lie down in the snow creating snow angels, and for another photo we'd spell 'merry christmas' out by making a lot of snow angels in that shape!

xmas in souther Italy is a great occasion for relatives to stay together. What a family do the whole time is about eating, eating and...eating!! So what I would do whit Diana mini is a fat fat reportage on our great attitude at cooking, eating, playing and enjoying the time all together. Se vincessi questa macchina fotografica sarei felice come pochi. In ogni caso fotograferei qualsiasi cosa mi "ispiri", nel vero senso della parola, in quell'istante. Come faccio di solito: posso scattare 300 foto in un giorno, e nessuna per settimane.
Ad ogni modo mi piacerebbe immortalare qualcuno che sente davvero questa festa, questo "compleanno di Gesù" argomento su cui si sprecano parole, soldi, critiche.. Ma a cui qualcuno crede ancora, una festa che qualcuno sente ancora.. Davvero.

Gli adulti vedono il natale più o meno come lo sentivano da bambini. è una tradizione ricca di atmosfera ed emozioni. E proprio quella emozione e quella luce negli occhi che vorrei vedere mentre apre il suo regalino.

La mia idea di Natale?! beh...come per tutti la mia famiglia!! Studio fuori casa, perciò di rado ho l'occasione di stare insieme a loro!! Adoro passare Natale a casa...il camino acceso, la tavola imbandita e decorata ogni anno in maniera diversa a seconda di quello che mia mamma decide di creare, i dolci preparati con cura dalla nonna, le tradizioni di mio padre, io e i miei fratelli che scartiamo i regali al mattino, ancora tutti in pigiama, proprio come quando potevamo esibire la nostra età usando solo le mani!! Quanto sarei contenta quest'anno di poter regalare questa meraviglia a mio fratello...adora la fotografia,ma proprio qualche mese fa gli hanno rubato valigia e fotocamera!!
Prima di regalargliela però...fotograferei me, fuori dalla porta della mia casa da studentessa, con la valigia in mano e un enorme sorriso...pronta a tornare a Casa, solo varcata la soglia per me comincia veramente a essere Natale!!

Fotograferei tutte le cose buone che ci sono sulla tavola addobbata il giorno di natale,scorgerei quelle persone che mi colpiranno particolarmente per qualcosa che hanno,per l'espressione che mostrano mentre cammino per strada;fotograferei la mattina di natale i miei cuginetti tutti riuniti intorno all'albero a scartare regali(lo so,fa tanto cartolina XD)
Cosa aggiungere,avrei altre mille cose da fotografare,ma queste per il momento sono quelle che mi ispirano particolarmente dato il periodo natalizio. :)

Se avessi una diana mini a natale le foto della famiglia sono sicuramente nella lista !
ma ci sono molte altre idee , basta pensare alla neve ( sperando che nevichi quest'anno ),probabilmente perchè credo che la neve sia in grado di cambiare il paesaggio ..........
Per non parlare dei fuochi d'artificio l'ultimo dell'anno !mi incantano i loro colori , vedere come si divertono i genitori a accenderli per i piccoli ( dato che non è il caso che lo facciano loro ....).
E insomma non mi limiterei certo al natale ....

Avrei subito voglia di fare delle fotografie ai miei figli che scartano i loro regali ,a mio padre che a più di settant'anni si ostina a prendere la scala per addobbare l'albero , a mia madre che comincia a preparare il pranzo natalizio con minimo una settimana di anticipo .... in poche parole bearmi dell'idea che spesso si passa la maggior parte dell'anno a tentare di scappare dalla routine ma che invece a natale ci sono cose che non stancano mai , anzi vedere che non cambiano mi fanno stare bene .

I would photograph my family of course, because it's Christmas after all. I would not tell them when I would press the button so that the picture would be completely unexpected. Pictures like that are so extremely funny! People trying to put their hair perfect, uncles smiling because they just told a joke, the parents holding each other just that little closer than they would do on the posed picture. I just looooove unexpected pictures! Especially when being with friends and having an extremely good time, laughing etc. On pictures like that you can see what people mean with happiness.

Non ho mai vissuto il Natale in termini spirituali e religiosi perchè non sono una credente a tutti gli effetti (sono in dubbio diciamo!)e ritengo sia la festa della famiglia, che per me costituisce un valore fondamentale: per questo motivo è una festività che aspetto ogni anno con ansia! Tra scuola, lavoro e università non siamo sempre riuniti tutti insieme come la sera della Vigilia, che è la mia preferita e che ovviamente diventa una giornata assolutamente speciale!
Con la mia nuova Diana mini farei sicuramente tante foto alle risate collettive, agli abbracci e all' albero di Natale: quando lo guardo penso a quanto sia bello non abbandonare mai le proprie tradizioni, soprattutto se queste possono diventare delle scuse per stare insieme!

Premesso che io amo con tutto il cuore il Natale, in particolare respirare l'aria la sera nelle vie illuminate dalle luci, calpestando la bianca e soffice neve appena caduta.. sarebbe bellissimo ricevere in questa occasione uno strumento magico tanto quanto il Natale! La Diana Mini è adorabile e vorrei tanto possederne una un giorno... ovviamente se me la regalasse Moustachic la prima foto che scatterei sarebbe in suo onore, per ringraziarvi! e quindi farei uno scatto colorato, divertente e moustacchioso! :D poi renderei il resto del rullino un arcobaleno di luci che racchiudono la magia del natale e l'armonia che c'è nell'aria in questo splendido periodo dell'anno!

Sono una grande fan di lomography, ho già una fish eye e con i soldi che riceverò per natale sto programmando di comprarne un'altra. Con la diana mini che potrei vincere mi piacerebbe da morire fotografare me e i miei amici durante queste feste natalizie. Se sì, ecco cosa vorrei fotografare: la mia famiglia riunita, tutti insieme illuminati dalle luci dell'albero di natale, e proprio al centro un immenso spazio vuoto, che una volta apparteneva a una persona.

C'è un momento che si ripete ogni anno a Natale a casa mia, un momento impercettibile di quelli che fuggono quando ti accorgi di lui e che ormai non puoi più riportare indietro.
E' il momento del Dessert.
Ebbene si.
Ogni anno mia Madre e mia Nonna si combattono a colpi di struffoli e casatielli cercando la composizione migliore e più spettacolare per entusiasmare i commensali e stuzzicare la loro fame quando la loro pancia è ormai piena.
Il segreto permea la scena per giorni, nessuno ha ancora visto nulla di quello che hanno preparato, segreto di stato.
Mia Nonna potrebbe puntare su un tripudio di mustaccioli e roccocò decorati con glasse d'ogni genere e zuccherini multicolori che l'albero di Natale impallidirebbe e si butterebbe dalla finestra se lo sapesse; mia Madre invece scommetto su piramidi di Strufoli tipo Ferrero Rocher che ti chiedi come facciano a stare in equilibrio senza crollare giù (e scopri che il segreto e nel miele).
Beh ogni anno arriva il momento del dolce, tutti siamo col fiato sospeso e all'improvviso appaiono le "Opere". Ed io quest'anno sarei felici di attendere quel momento con la mia Macchina Fotografica in Mano per fermare l'attimo in cui Mamma e Nonna si presentano a tavola e tutti rimaniamo a bocca aperta. E' un millisecondo. Quello che anticipa l'attimo in cui ci fiondiamo sul Dessert (cioè subito dopo!).
Non ho idea di cosa ci aspetti quest'anno: forse pandoro multistrato con crema al mascarpone e stella di zucchero in cima, oppure Casatiello dolce alla napoletana e rivisitato per farlo sembrare la grotta di Betlemme. Non lo so, non ne ho idea. Ma vorrei essere lì a vederlo attraverso l'obiettivo, per conservare quel momento per sempre e riportarlo al cuore quando momenti così non ci saranno più.

If I won this camera...I think the first thing I would try to shoot would be a bunch of our friends in a car, with the windows open and snow flying in from all directions :P I don't know why. I saw it in a movie once and it looked like a lot of fun. I think it was 127 hours. Although the rest of the movie is kind of awful. Lol. Anyway, I just love snow + friends :) My second picture, of course, would be Mo, my boyfriend, with a giant blanket, hot chocolate, and presents! :D
He's like a little Teddy Bear with ambitions.
And the third would be the stupid little snowflake decorations I made out of paper yesterday! Haha

My idea of Christmas is definitely sitting around the fire and watching A Christmas Story, which is my all time favorite movie. My dad and me usually curl up on the couch and drink egg nog (me) coffee (him) while my mom sits on our other couch and drinks tea! I think this holiday especially isn't about gifts or who gets what, but more about what you want for the New Year and to realize how important family/friends are to you. Decorating the tree, buying presents for others, drinking hot cocoa...its what comes to mind for me right when I think of Christmas.
If I were to win this camera, I would take a picture of the first real snow I see on the ground. The weather keeps changing on the East Coast, so we haven't seen a real snowfall yet! I'd take the picture, frame it in a vintage looking frame, and put it right on my dresser so everyday I wake up I would think about the one time when I felt like a kid again and ran outside to take a picture of the first snowfall.

putroppo non è possibile fotografare quello che vorrei nel giorno di natale. il 25 dicembre scorso mi sono innamorata. follemente, purtroppo. dico purtroppo perchè quella persona ha deciso di buttare un anno intenso passato insieme così, come se non valesse niente, come se non valesse niente quest'amore che ora sono costretta a soffocare.
avrei voluto fotografare quel giorno, l'atmosfera natalizia che si respirava a casa sua, l'albero con le luci, il mio vestito con le stampe geometriche..e soprattutto lui, il suo sorriso, che ormai è quasi un ricordo svanito. lui com'era quella sera, e come non sarà mai più

damn i forgot to say, my idea of christmas is how it brings together family and friends you mightn't have seen for months. not only for presents and a lovely meal but just for a fun, memorable time. if i had i diana mini i would take photos of my family and friends at christmas and of my summer holiday up the coast :)

Sooo on new years day, if I had the diana, I would take a picture of my friend's face, Anna, when I give her a doughnut-cheeseburger (that's right, two of the world's best culinary wonders in one!) in front of the xmas tree. I can already picture her face, I promise you it's worth capturing ;)

If I had the Diana Mini camera, on Christmas day I would take a photo of all my friends and family (I don't know if they'll all fit in the picture I have a pretty HUGE family.) Because that's what Christmas is all about being re-united, spending time together and enjoying one another's company. I know it's probably been said a thousand times, but that is my one of my favourite things over the Christmas holidays seeing friends and family again after you haven't seen them for ages.

La mia idea del Natale sarebbe una grande festa con tanti invitati, tanti regali sotto un grande albero, anche per gli invitati che non conosco, non immagino un pranzo che duri a lungo, piuttosto mi immagino un pomeriggio lunghissimo, dove si gioca, si canta e ci si scambia i regali. Lo spirito del Natale in fondo è questo: condividere la gioia attraverso un dono, anche a chi non conosci.
Con la mia nuova Diana Mini di sicuro immortalerei ogni singolo invitato cercando di non farmi vedere, per cogliere le sue emozioni nella spontaneità più totale. Magari risate, abbracci, baci...momenti che secondo me, devono essere immortalati per la magia che nascondono. :)

Ohh this is my little sister's first Christmas. I would take photos of her. Like a mini series of her First Christmas. When she get up from bed, while she walks to see her presents, than the her face when she see the presents. Ahh<3 I could show it to you If I win. Per Natale vorrei fotografare tutta la mia famiglia riunita a tavola apparecchiata con candele e le pietanze ben disposte su di essa. La farei mettere in piedi sulle rispettive sedie con l'albero di natale dietro la tavola e chiedendo di avere uno sguardo neutro a coloro che compaiono nella foto. I regali acora da scartare li metterei sotto al tavolo, in modo che si vedano appena e scatterei la foto nell'attimo esatto in cui il mio gatto, l'unico salito sulla tavola si sta stiracchiando. L'osservatore vede le persone frontali mentre il gatto di profilo.
Spero di essere stata abbastanza chiara.
Ho seguito tutte le istruzioni!

Io con la mia Diana fotograferei gli avanzi dei dolci restanti sulla tavola..i resti degli incarti che rimangono sotto l'albero dopo l'apertura dei doni..gli aghi del pino che continuano a cadere incessantemente... sul pavimento(l'albero è vero,ma è lo stesso da oltre 10 anni,nquanto era provvisto di zolla e venne piantato in un vaso)...sono un'amante del "nonsense"...fotograferei il disordine del Natale per osservarlo e per cercare in mezzo a tanta confusione il suo vero significato..cercherei un'immagine dei RESTI del Natale per trovare una risposta alla seguente domanda..ma davvero a noi cosa RESTA di questo giorno dell'anno?

With the Diana Mini I will love to take a picture of me and my Italian boyfriend since is the first Xmas we are going to spend together, we met here in Spain a few months ago in when I moved for an student exchange, so was him, so having a picture (or 1,000 pics) of us will be a super cool memory since I am going back to Mexico in early February to finish school and I am going to miss him so freaking much, we are going to be 10,000km away from each other :'(

I would take pictures of the Christmas traditions here in The Philippines. People going to the mass hours before the the clock rings at 12midnight. The traditional Noche Buena where the whole family feasts on local delicacies and ham, I would photograph them as well.

X-mas for me is the time it's horrible to go outside, because it's soo cold! and you think: 'omg, I don't wat this cold.' But then, when it snows, or you're just sitting inside of the house with your lovely ones and lights, you think: 'What is X-mas such a great time...'
And when I win the camera, the first picture I take is: a horse wearing a skirt!!

i will visit my family in peru during the christmas days, so i'm very exciiited because i will spend 2 weeks just together with people i love and who will make me laugh all the time :D and i think everybody should realize at christmastime how great it is to be sorrounded by people we love. plus (!) in peru, it's summer so as my first picture i would shoot the beautiful beach and me with a happy smile standing at the coast. :)
